Touchstones Editor
Head poetry editor for Utah Valley University’s Touchstones Journal.
In Spring 2023, I had the privilege of leading a team consisting of 5 poetry editors and 12 talented authors. My role involved providing support to both the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor. I meticulously sifted through over 100 submissions, carefully selecting the top 12 poems following journal standards.
My responsibilities included a variety of tasks. I reviewed and edited content for precision, clarity, and adherence to our journal’s style. I utilized Adobe InDesign for typesetting. And I contributed to the final readthrough before the journal went to print. Some of my favorite memories were during these hours of collaborative work that went into creating this beautiful publication.
